YOU LOOK AT A COUPLE TONS
of stone veneer as a big jigsaw puzzle
with a huge payoff in curb appeal, a
re-siding project like this isn’t that
scary. Before getting to the “fun part,”
Amy removed the old siding around
her Saginaw, Michigan, home’s porch
and garage, nailed up wire mesh, and
applied a skim coat of concrete. “It
was very physical work but entirely
worth it in the end,” she says.
